Today’s the Day! I am about to show off my finished “fall” wreath.
To start, I ransacked the paint stash at Bella Fine. Upon further advice from Debs, I learned it would be best to use an acrylic spray paint. You may find acrylic spray paint at your local craft store (i.e. Michael’s).

Once I gathered all the gold/bronze paint tones I adored, I went through and sorted my filler, gourds, pumpkins and acorns – placing them by the paint color I thought would look best. Next, it was time to get my “paint on”. So, Keighley and I took to the streets and painted to the town gold.
Here’s what we came up with~~~

Once all of the wreath items had been painted we 1) added filler to our wood base 2) started placing in the pumpkins/gourds 3) added some glitter spray as a finishing touch (I apologize for the lack of pictures. I was in deep concentration). Tip: when making a wreath, hang up your base {around eye level} and then go to town with filler/pumpkins/et cetera. This enables you to see how it is going to look hanging on your door.
So here it is, my “fall” wreath for 2009.

Keighley - loves it!!!
Jamie - It looks great, even though Grady took a bite out of one of your decorative pumpkins. No, seriously, I don’t even want to hang a wreath because yours makes mine look so lame-o. I love it.

Lynne - How talented you are! Your wreath is spectacular.
