Kid Friendly “Peppermint” Ornament

Here’s a great ornament that kids can make and Mom’s would love to hang on their Christmas trees. We are making it tomorrow with the kids as part of our Thanksgiving Day crafting.

Thanks Martha Stewart!

Directions

Lay 5 or more peppermint candies in a circle to form a wreath.

Bond sides together using frosting. (Use a hot glue gun IF an adult is doing the project with the kids-it will be a stronger bond and will take less time.)

Allow frosting to dry for several hours.

Decorate with small cinnamon or mint candies.

Attach decorative twine or ribbon.

Hang ornament on your tree.

Happy Crafting!

Tia - This is too cute! I think I might need to put candy on the grocery list :)
