Dear Bella Diary-
I did it.
Today, I announce to my peeps at “The-Large-Corporation-That-I-Work-For-That-Will-Not-Be-Named” that I will be quiting. My last day will be around July 2nd. I’d be lying if I said I was sad. In fact, it was the complete opposite. It was exhilarating. It was empowering.
I loved my corporate adventure. I had the best Marketing mentors anyone could ask for. They taught me to be innovative. Learning didn’t end at my graduation. No. I can honestly say, I learn something new about Marketing everyday. However, every minute I’m down at “The-Large-Corporation-That-I-Work-For-That-Will-Not-Be-Named” I think about this blog, social media and social networking. I need to be doing what I am passionate about. This little dove needs to spread her wings.
I will miss my friends at “The-Large-Corporation-That-I-Work-For-That-Will-Not-Be-Named”. They were my family away from home. I vow to keep in touch with them. I need the Fashionistas (Especially you Ice Queen), Lizzard, Red Boots, Jangle, Queso {Sorry about that… a lot of those names won’t make sense to you guys}! They keep me looking young and fabulous.
So, what’s next?
I will be doing a mixture of things. First, I will be doing eMarketing (Social Media, Social Networking, Community Management, Email, et cetera) with a Phoenix based advertising agency, Blender Creative. Second, I will be working part time on this blog. Third, I will be doing eMarketing Contract work out of my home (Just set up my own company – eSocial Strategies LLC).
We have some big plans for this little blog and it’s going to take another 6-12 months to get there (details to come!!!). It is time for me to take a huge leap of faith and leave my corporate nest.
Wowza! Flash Face!

Red Boots - You’re like the baby geese who jump from the ledge outside my window and land in the shrub below–chirping and yellowish-green with both little feet on the ground. JUST like that:)
