Today ends another chapter of my life. I finished packing up my desk. Turned in my laptop and blackberry. Hugged my “work family” goodbye. Then, I walked out of the tall glass doors at the “Large-Corporation-That-I-Previously-Worked-For-That-Will-Not-Be-Named”.
I’d be lying if I said I haven’t shed a few tears this week. Tears over my friends. Friends who greatly impacted my life. Friends who I know I won’t see everyday. Because of this latter reason, I fear our strong bonds may somewhat dwindle. Maybe I’m just being a sap.
On a brighter note. Last night, I came home to a clean house, a gift and a special card. The front of the card made me laugh really hard (Dallan drew a picture of us flying on the back of a Boston Terrier Dragon {Bebe}). The kind note on the inside made me cry really hard.
I don’t know where he comes up with this stuff. Simply amazing!
