Work is absolutely crazy this week. I have been on-the-go since 7:00 am this morning and I won’t be stopping anytime soon. Sigh. At least I’m my own boss, right? Note to self: channel Pollyanna thoughts. Enough about my woes.
This week, Dallan and I welcomed another mid-century modern gem into our family. A old new couch!
Debs was a little skeptical about this $70 Goodwill purchase (i.e. she tried to act enthusiastic for me but her face said it all – “What about bed bugs!”). After showing Debs a few of the pictures, I assured her that we had thoroughly washed this thing 2 times. Plus we will be getting it reupholstered ASAP. Now if I could only decide which color to go with…
So, it is with great pleasure that I announce, “Debs is on board”!
Disclaimer: The cushions don’t look so hot, because we removed the pillowcases, washed them (twice), and put the cushions back. They be looking a little lumpy now. I’m hoping we have it in the upholstery shop within 2-3 weeks. Just try to envision it.
P.S. Pics of the new media console coming soon. My first round of pictures didn’t turn out so great. Surprised?

Tamara - I love it. I want to change my couch. I feel it dose not match really well. But you know jimmy…. Ugh
camberley - 1. Couches aren’t cheap (unless you buy them at Goodwill, but you’ll still end up spending 400-600 dollars getting it reupholstered).
2. Your couch is comfortable.
3. I think your couch matches just fine. However, I don’t have to live with it so you do what makes you happy.
Liz - I LOVE this couch. I’m thinking smoky mint green. Cheers to the couch.
camberley - Smoky Mint Green. That sounds so chic, Ms. Trimaloff.
