A Truly “Gifted” Blogger

I have been drooling over all of the cute gift wrapping ideas floating around the internet right now.  Yarn, Buttons, Felt, Glitter, Paper, Ribbon…. the list of materials being used is endless. One blog that is pushing the envelope when it comes to gift wrapping creativity is The Gifted Blog. Here’s a little bit of information about Charissa, the face behind The Gifted Blog.

I hope [my blog] will encourage you to experiment, tinker, and enjoy. Because, let’s be honest: gift wrapping can be stressful, a harried afterthought as you are rushing off to that birthday party or shower. But it has so much potential! Make The Gifted Blog your go-to resource for all occasions. Here, you can find DIY tutorialsthe lowdown on every gift I wrapfree printables, and suggestions even a gift wrap hater can appreciate.

I love wrapping gifts because it is an opportunity to be creative and share that pleasure with someone else. It’s a reason to use our hands and imagination. It’s an excuse to play around with unusual materials. At its best, gift wrapping is a satisfying creative practice in an increasingly virtual world.

When I’m not wrapping gifts or blogging about it, I enjoy watching Battlestar Galactica with my husband (yes, we’re about 5 years behind on TV) and listening to my son’s latest one-word guitar ballad in beautiful Pasadena, California.

Are you ready to see some of her work?

Do you know what else I LOVE about The Gifted Blog? FREE PRINTABLE FRIDAYS! Last Friday’s free printable was Birdie Gift Tags.  Note to self: use on top of a few of the Christmas Gifts you STILL need to wrap.

You can find your own little chickadee and cardinal here.
