Green Style Living

My love of the color green goes way back. During my teen years my Mother decided that I could choose the colors for my new bedroom-which was the result of a large remodel project. To this day I can’t believe that she trusted my design style and allowed me to choose a lime green, back and white decor palette. It was a pretty bold move for my day since it was the 70′s and burnt orange, avocado green and mustard yellow were all THE colors of the day.

Over the years my use of this color has evolved from lime green into many different shades. {although to this day I’m still partial to this shade.} But when asked what my favorite color is I will always put green at the top of the list and here’s why…

Green kitchens make all the meals you prepare look better-{just kidding}-but a green kitchen has such a bright cheery feel that you really will want to spend a lot of time in a room this color.
