When I find something I REALLY ♥, I can’t help but consciously make an effort to not mention it to anyone. Frankly, the only reason I don’t like to share my favorite finds is because I’m selfish. The second my eyes zone in on a unique/amazing/one-of-a-kind/original/perfect ANYTHING, I immediately tense up and remind myself that I can’t tell anyone….
I’m pretty sure this is a huge negative for someone who blogs about decor, lifestyles, products etc.
Anyway, today I’ve decided to bend my rules a little bit. I am forcing myself to share one of my favorite finds of 2010/2011. Les Indiennes is a company that makes printed cotton fabric in south India and was launched in 2002 by Mary Mulcahy. With these stunning fabrics, that are made according to an age-old process, Mary creates bedding, pillows, curtains, upholstered furniture, wall hangings, books & more!
There is nothing I can say that will give the products of Les Indiennes & IVM Prints justice, so I will let the pictures speak for themselves! What I can say however is I am really excited for the day I own a home and can really focus on decorating for the long term… these products are a definite shoo-in.
