One of my favorite things about being near my mom and sisters again is popping by their place every now and then. Today I stopped by Keighley’s before heading off to do some work. We quickly made ourselves comfortable on her couch where we talked about crows attacking Piper, frustrations with the blog (yes, this blog), and husbands who never scour the bathroom. I envied her beautiful entertainment center and knick-knacks, and enjoyed the smells from her pile of clean laundry she was folding.
The best part about sisters: they love you no matter how you look. I came to her door with a hair mask on and wrapped in a bun, a three-peated outfit, and sunglasses to cover the swollen eyes I get from allergies. Somehow, she still managed to compliment me.
No one can brighten your day like moms and sisters can (and an awesome new skirt that I exchanged old clothes for!).

and we’ll hit up the BE too. I’ve been doing this thing where I take in old clothes, and use the store credit to get new ones. It’s a great way to shop for cheap! PS- we need to live closer so I can pop by your place and see you & the boys.
