This week we will be highlighting different ways to dress up your Christmas presents. I’ve discovered that getting creative with present wrappings makes gift giving much more enjoyable. Being creative also makes gift wrapping less of a chore.
Today our Christmas gift wrapping is all about using your year round wrapping paper and ribbons for holiday presents. When December rolls around, we often run to the nearest store to grab wrapping papers in red, green, and white. What we fail to remember is Christmas colors have really expanded and encompass nearly every color of the rainbow! Why not use your pink, blue or purple wrapping paper?
Last week while hunting for Christmas steals at Tuesday Mornings, I came across glittered green and magenta ornaments for $.67! Although my Christmas decor is more traditional, I thought the ornaments would make great gift toppers. So pairing the glittered “Enjoy” ornament with the magenta wrapping paper and ribbon I already had at home, I gave a year-round look a Christmas makeover.
This is a very simple idea for gift wrapping. It literally consists of a double knot and an ornament! Despite being basic, it sure turns out cute.
