Spiced Dark Chocolate Bark with Pumpkin Seeds & Sea Salt

Recently, while pondering about our food storage, the thought came to me– I’m going to need to budget in some chocolate! I could never go without chocolate! I guess you could say it’s pretty important to me.

My obsession with dark chocolate is a widely-shared phenomenon among women, which is exactly why the majority of you readers (I’m assuming most of our readers are of the female gender) will DIE over this recipe.

***I know we just did a recipe yesterday, but what are the holidays without a LOT of treats!?

Spiced Dark Chocolate & Pumpkin Seed Bark with Sea Salt

3 1/2 ounces dark chocolate {60% cacao or higher}

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice {I included some All Spice as well}

1/8 teaspoon ground red chipotle

3/4 cup roasted & salted hulled pumpkin seeds {I also added cashew pieces}

1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt

Parchment paper

1. Break chocolate bars into smaller pieces, then melt it in a double boiler over medium to low heat– a great video HERE explaining how to correctly do this.

2. While melting, add in your spices and a little more than half of your pumpkin seeds.

3. Once completely melted, use a spatula to pour chocolate mixing onto parchment paper. You can decide the shape and how thick you want it to be.

4. Then, top the chocolate mixture with leftover pumpkin seeds {this is where I added some crushed up cashews too}. You should top it with the coarse sea salt once it has cooled for 5 minutes or so.

4. Place it in the refrigerator until firm and then break into pieces.

5. Enjoy! And tell me how much you LOVE it!
