It has been a crazy couple of weeks in the pregnancy department here at our house, so I thought I’d pleasure you all with a little update.

It all started two weeks ago (at approximately 4:52 am) when my uterus decided it had a mind of it’s own.  Since then, I’ve been dealing with an irritable uterusat least that’s what I’ve diagnosed myself with. This means anything I do gives me a contraction: standing up, rolling over in bed, sitting up, walking, laughing, sneezing…  In fact, my contractions were so bad one evening that Dallan and I had to take a trip down to the hospital to get some medicine.  Unfortunately, the medicine was only a temporary fix and my contractions are back.  So, until my uterus figures things out, I am trying to keep my feet up.  Can I just say, being lazy is hard work.  Especially when you’re the type of person who goes from sunup to sundown.  Thank goodness I work from home!

Has anyone else had experience with an irritable uterus?  If so, what did you do to treat it?  The doctor has me on Magnesium now but it doesn’t seem to be helping much.

Now that we are getting closer to my due date, I decided it was time get rid of all the extra decor loot I had sitting in the babies room.  Let me tell you, this was a BIG job.  I didn’t realize I was such a decor and craft supplies hoarder.  I need help.

As of Saturday, we have a dresser, a crib, and a toy doll bed my neighbor built us sitting in there. We still need to purchase a rug, artwork, curtains, shelves…. The list goes on. Although the room isn’t completely finished, I thought I’d give you all a sneak peek.  Enjoy!

I’ve known a handful of people who had that! It gets worse with dehydration so drink up and be good and lazy!

Never had that prob but kind of wishing I were right now! This kid is never coming out. And love the nursery, esp the little baby bed. So cute! It’s super hard when you have to stay down…I think I would go crazy.

Yes I like the simple, modern crib as well and have to 2nd the comment above re. hydration. SO key during pregnancy. Hope you can get and stay comfortable!

Oh, I love the blanket. It makes the room seem so cozy. I should learn to crochet. Or maybe not. I need a friend to crochet for me. That would be ideal. Or maybe when my kids are older I can have one learn to crochet, one to quilt, and one to knit. And maybe a pillow maker. Then I would be living in a comfortable wonderland… okay now I am rambling.

Hang in there, Cammie! Besides, practice makes perfect, right? When it’s show time, your uterus will know EXACTLY what to do! LOL! And i have to say I absolutely ADORE the wall color you chose. It’s so fresh and clean but still fun and playful!
