Call me a bad wife, or call me brilliant, but for the past four Christmases I have been quick to jump on the “no-couples-gifts” bandwagon… a.k.a. Eric and I have never given Christmas gifts to one another. However, this year I told him I would like to do a small gift swap– baby steps, people! Only time can tell if our plans will follow through. Either way, I have been scanning the Internet for some inspiration, and really enjoyed some ideas over at the Old Faithful Shop.

- Sewing Kit
- Canadian Wool Blanket
- Sling Shot
- Soldered Terrarium
- How To Be A Man Book
- Screwdriver
- Backpack
If any of you are curious about the sewing kit, Eric has a small kit with needles and mini scissors that he kept with him while living in India. He still has it, and he still whips it out for random fixes. I really like the manly aesthetic the sewing kit above has.
Oh, and how about the “How To Be A Man” book? Totally awesome. It’s a lifelong process for them… only kidding!

Sherry - Just found this adorable blog!!! Gonna have a look around……love some of these gifts…..I might even want them
Gwen - It makes me sad that things like these are promoted as “for men” when in reality they’re interesting gifts that anyone could love.
I love things like this, but I guess I’ll have to see if they have it in pink high heel shoe patterns and have a makeup kit instead of the slingshot. Teehee.
keighley - Gwen I completely agree with you! I should have added a (and women) in the title… I’m definitely a girl that would enjoy a good slingshot or carving knife as well as a tube of lip gloss.
I just wanted to point out some fun items men might enjoy for readers that were stuck figuring out what to buy. XO
