I realize that Christmas was only two days ago, but I’m already looking forward to Valentine’s day. Why? Because then I don’t get the holiday blues. I always get sad thinking we have to wait another 9 months for Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving…. Please tell me I’m not the only one who gets sad over this.
Dallan and I have never been big on celebrating Valentine’s Day, but since our anniversary is February 9th we do celebrate our marriage around this time of year. So this is how I justify “Valentine-like” gifts, dates, and desserts. This year, I may even throw up a few decorations (that is, if I can muster up the energy with a newborn in the house).
