Just recently I started a bucket list which has me thinking and dreaming about the things I want to do. When I came across several articles about the market places of Morocco, I took it as a sign that this was something that I needed to add to my list. Not only do I love to shop in the bargaining marketplaces of foreign countries but I also love the bright colors and patterns typical of the Moroccan style. The shopping and decorating possibilities would be endless!

Today, the Moroccan decor style remains popular but some are hesitant to jump into this bold design trend. I’m one of those that have been hesitant to jump back into the intense colors and patterns from this part of the world. However a new spin on this style is taking hold. The most recent Hight Point furniture market introduced a new take on the Moroccan decor trend called Marrakech Modern. Tracy Bulla-from Home Accents Today-describes it this way: “Exotic Moroccan design gets a modern makeover this season, offsetting lavish detailing with crisp minimalism in stunning white-hot style.” Simply put, its the Moroccan style in neutral colors.
