On Facebook last week, I noticed that Martha Stewart’s Fan Page was highlighting some adorable mojave letterpress coasters by In Haus Press. I loved the simple patterns on these coasters and the balance of cork and white.
These coasters got me excited about making some customized coasters of my own. So, I drove down to my local craft store and picked up a couple of $1.50 packages of cork coasters. Since I’m not very artistic, I just used a ruler, foam paint brush, and acrylic paint to jazz up my coasters. Fortunately, I actually ended up with an end result I love.
Materials:
- Cork/Wood Coasters
- Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brushes (or Foam Brush)
- Ruler/Stencil (Optional)
Directions:
- Paint to your heart’s desire!
