I often click through CB2 because I STILL have Crate and Barrel gift cards from our wedding that I can use in their store. I’ve been hanging on to them for almost two years now. I know, what’s wrong with me? Since we have been highlighting Christmas decor trends and what-not, I’m going to share some items I clicked through and thought would be fun to “deck the halls” with. Fa-la-la-la-la!
Plaid made its debut on the fall 2011 runway, and is easily considered a fashion trend for this season. When I saw how prevalent it was in various designer collections, I had to ask… ”When isn’t plaid a fall trend?”
So, when I came across this laptop bag at Urban Outfitters over the weekend (marked down to only 10 dollars!!!!), I knew that it was coming home with me. Luckily, I snagged it before Cami or Keighley could beat me to it. It felt like survival of the fittest while we were digging through the sales bins.
Pretty sure I can’t get enough of it. I have had it hanging in my sight all weekend, and feel pathetic for catching myself staring at it all the time. It’s love!
Yes, it’s vibrant! Disclaimer: what you are about to see may blind you. In fact, this dress has been known to cause cataracts. If you are prone to having sensitive eyes, then please put on some sunglasses. In all seriousness, I’m pretty sure it is NOT this bright in person. I’m praying it isn’t or I am going to have another piece of clothing gathering dust in my closet.
Grand total: $9
Well hey, on a positive note…. remember my new years resolution to be bold? I can check that one off the list. Anyone else in love with the tiered ruffle sleeves like I am?
You’ll be able to spot me in any crowd when I’m wearing this puppy! BAM! Here is some more turquoise inspiration for your wardrobe.

I challenged myself to a water coloring class back in 2007, and now I have a new appreciation for all things water and color. It’s a difficult style of art. No room to mess up because you can’t fix it like you can with oil painting. I’m pretty sure my fingers were stained purple and green that whole semester. Nothing like a good ol’ art class to bring your GPA down.
Anyways, I stumbled upon MaiAutumn’s shop on etsy and it reminded me of my struggle with that class. Check it out:
Pretty, huh?
