The Bella Girls had a hectic week, so we’ve decided to take a much needed break today. We’ll be back up tomorrow with fun Bathroom Decor Tips, Recipes, Fall Nesting Ideas, Et Cetera. Until then, have a safe and relaxing Sunday.
Has your Monday been as busy as mine? Why don’t you kick up your feet for the next 4 minutes and listen to this soothing song by Azure Ray.
Here is a little “wikipedia” background about this singing duo:
“Azure Rayis an American dream pop duo, consisting of musicians Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink. The pair met at the age of 15 at the Alabama School of Fine Arts.”
“Azure Ray started in Athens, Georgia, but relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and joined the music scene there. Their sound is sparse and understated, with intimate lyrics, elements of alt-country and folk Americana, and occasional forays into minimalist electronica territory.”

Listen to a beautiful song performed by Melody Gardot. Here is a little background information about Melody from her interview with Scott Simon on NPR:
“The singer, now 23, was hit by an SUV while riding her bicycle. Her injuries were serious and left her unable to sit up for more than 10 minutes. She suffered short-term memory loss and acute sensitivity to light and sound.”
“Gardot had played the piano before the accident, and a doctor suggested that she use music as a kind of recovery therapy. Since she couldn’t sit comfortably at the piano, she picked up a guitar. Now, she’s a professional musician, and her debut full-length album is called Worrisome Heart.”

What: Want to change your life? Do you want to have the best body, self-esteem, and mental health? If you said “yes” to either of those questions, WE NEED TO HANG OUT! I am going to be taking a Bikrams Yoga class after a 6 week hiatus. {Product of my laziness, lack of cash, and physical health i.e. almost dying.} I can not wait to meditate and challenge my body again.
When: This coming Monday at 8pm. {Put your kids to bed, leave the dishes for the husband and COME!}
Where: Tempe Bikram Studio
How: I will tell you everything you need to bring, and even pick you up! Dead serious.
Why: Oh I don’t know…. BECAUSE YOU WANT TO EXPIERENCE NIRVANA? You also want to look like this HOTTIE!

This is a picture of my dear friend Joanna. {Boo, don’t be mad at me!} She has being going to Bikrams regularly for the past 8 months and it has changed her life. No joke. She had more health problems than me before converting to this form of exercise. By the way… this is an advanced pose. You will not be asked to do this in Mondays class.

Here are the poses we attempt to do in class. The best thing about Bikrams is everyone no matter size, shape, or age is invited and loved. There is such a sense of community and support at yoga so don’t be SCARED. If you’re brave enough to change your life, leave a message and I will get in touch with you. If you’re too scared… wish me luck and let me know when you get the courage. GO BIKRAM!
